Dorothy Dublin

Hometown – Morgan City, LA

What’s your favorite activity? I love to visit different countries and experience different cultures. Hands down, my favorite place so far is the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland. I swear I left a piece of my soul there! I love discovering new places and new things about myself during my travels. Traveling brings so many opportunities and activities that I would never get to experience in Texas/Louisiana such as a desert safari on my trip to Dubai, African safari in South Africa, holding a Koala or climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge in Australia, the stories and experiences are endless.

What do you absolutely hate doing? The dishes…even thinking about it makes me cringe.

What is your favorite form of exercise? I love changing things up and doing different things such as yoga, zumba, barre, walking with great company or with beautiful scenery.

What is your favorite day of the year? October 31st.

What’s your least favorite mode of transportation? Since I love traveling, the main modes of transportation are definitely a favorite! I’ve been skydiving so I’m not really afraid of heights, but if I had to choose one I would say the Billy Pugh I rode in order to get onto an offshore rig was my least favorite. I would much rather arrive to a rig in a helicopter!

What smell do you love? The smell of sugar cane fields burning while driving to or from my hometown in Louisiana.

If you could be any fictional character, who would you choose? Arya Stark

What would you name the autobiography of your life? This Crazy Cajun-Cuban Lady Travels

What songs are included on the soundtrack to your life? “Make Me Smile” by The Slackers, “The Next in Line” by Swingin’ Utters, “F.S.W.” by Too Many Zooz, “I Still Love You” by The Slackers, “Said Sadly” by The Smashing Pumpkins, “Cant Cheat Karma” by Zounds, “All I want” Kodaline, “I will Follow You Into the dark” Death Cab for Cutie, “Stubborn Love” by The Lumineers, “Some Kinda Hate” by The Misfits, “It’s Thundering and It’s Lightning” by We Were Promised Jetpacks

What was the last movie, TV show or book that made you cry or tear up? P.S. I love you

What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever done? Overcoming mental and physical hurdles to complete my first and only half marathon.

What did you do growing up that got you into trouble? I would probably say my attitude got me into the most trouble. I am still currently working on my facial expressions matching what I’m saying instead of what I’m thinking.

Where’s Waldo? Waldo is probably causing a traffic jam on raining day in Houston.
