Now, you may be asking what is a southern fried pinup? Well, Ginger is a sassy southern woman with a timeless charm, and just like the perfect chocolate sheet cake your grandmother used to make, She started her journey from scratch. Her pinup journey began in 2015 with the Texas Hoedown Pinup Contest. Since then it has been a beautiful marriage of philanthropy and pinup community. Ginger has fox trotted straight out of her Piney Woods comfort zone and right into your hearts!!

What is your favorite day of the year?
Christmas and Halloween. Both beautiful and magical!

If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet?
C.S. Lewis. His biography is absolutely amazing and his works have opened the eyes of my faith in astounding ways. One of my favorite books is the Screwtape Letters.

If you were a drink, what would it be? An Old Fashioned.
I don’t require a lot to be exciting, just like a good whiskey!

Which celebrity do you get mistaken for?
Kelly Kapowski, especially when I have bangs!

What do you want to be when you grow up?
A Makeup Artist, model and philanthropist.

What would you name the autobiography of your life?
“Loveyameanit Life! A story of worrying about yourself”

What songs are included on the soundtrack to your life?
I have a constant rotation of pop, classics, musicals and christian praise and worship. Each morning I start my day off by singing “I have confidence” from the sound of music….it really gets my pepped up for what the day may bring. Any Queen song can be included but particularly “Somebody to love” and “Killer Queen”. If I had to chose an anthem it would be “Maria” from Sound of Music. It truly describes my personality! I mean can I just use those lyrics as my bio? It would fit perfectly!!! I chose “Oceans (where feet may fail)” because I truly believe life begins outside of your comfort zone and to have a servants heart is to dive into the pits of life people fall into and help them out.

What was one of the best parties you’ve ever been to?
When I traveled to Mykonos. The whole island was one big party!!! That or the girls weekend at the lake house every summer. Lots of bling, beer and boys!!

What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever done?
Move from Nacodgoches to Houston.

What did you do growing up that got you into trouble?
Beat up another kid for teasing my best friend

When was the last time you were nervous?
Pretty much every pinup contest. I love getting ready (I spend almost the whole day on it and relish every moment) walking around and meeting people, cheering the other contestants on….but when it’s my turn I get total stage fright and almost forget how to speak English!! Haha. It’s so exhilarating and worth it!

Where’s Waldo?
At the construction site next to the children’s hospital ( http://www.people.com/article/construction-foreman-turns-site-wheres-waldo-children-hospital)
