Hoop Dance Instructor certified through Punk Rock Hoops.

Trained in Fire Performance Safety.

Becoming a Glitter Queen.

What was your favorite food when you were a child?

French fries. My mother told me it was one of the first foods I wanted to eat when I was a baby.

What’s your favorite activity?

There are so many activities, some of them are: reading, hoop dancing, dancing with fire hoops/fans, being creative, traveling, watching shows on Broadway, theater in general, laughing, hugging, hanging out with my friends, being sarcastic, going to concerts, going to museums, volunteering.

What do you absolutely hate doing?

I am not big on house hold chores like dishes and laundry but my absolute least favorite one is scooping the litter box and thankfully my Metal God has taken on that chore for us!

What is your favorite form of exercise?

Hoop dance or trying out different forms of dance, but I always come back to my hula hoop.

What is your favorite day of the year?

What’s your least favorite mode of transportation?

I think in Houston the worst would have to be walking but when I travel to New York City I do not mind walking to get to all the places I want to go.

What smell do you love?

Clove & Cinnamon and I also love the smell of coffee.

If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet?

I would love to meet P!nk. I have seen her in concert three times and the second time we held hands for about three seconds. I cried afterwards, it was the best concert I have ever seen. I would also love to meet Louis C.K. I have had a crush on him for many years and he is on my “list”.

If you were a drink, what would it be?

Glitter Bomb 1.5oz of Goldschlager and half a can of Red Bull.

If you could be any fictional character, who would you choose?

I would love to be a centaur.

Which celebrity do you get mistaken for?

I wish this happened to me, but alas I just look like me: Glitter FreeHugs.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

I used to believe that my career would define me but I have evolved from that line of thinking so I just want whatever it is I choose to do to bring me some joy and allow me to be creative. Right now I am getting both from my chosen career path but I have so many activities outside of my work that make me the person I am today.

What would you name the autobiography of your life?

And She Covered the World in Glitter!

What songs are included on the soundtrack to your life?

Glitter in the Air by P!nk, Origin of Love from Hedwig and the Angry Inch, The Zombie Song by Stephanie Mabey, Bad Influence by P!nk, Volcano Girls by Veruca Salt, Electric Head, Part 2 by White Zombie, Deceptacon by Le Tigre, Heads Will Roll by Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Dangerous by Big Data, The Carnival by Amanda Jenssen. I could really go on with this list and I will admit more often than not I am jamming to P!nk or the Hedwig and the Angry Inch soundtrack.

What was one of the best parties you’ve ever been to?

There have been too many to just name one. I will say any party that has a theme and involves costumes is one that I am really going to enjoy. Some of the fun ones I have been to have been: Circus Freaks, Mustache Bash, Toga Toga Toga, and Animal Magnetism. I have themed parties for my birthday and for 2015 my theme will be Glam Rock and I will be dressing up as Hedwig from Hedwig and the Angry Inch!

What was the last movie, TV show or book that made you cry or tear up?

I have seen Hedwig and the Angry Inch on Broadway three times as of today. Soon I will have seen it four times. When I saw Neil Patrick Harris I cried at the end, but for some reason Andrew Rannells really pulled at my heart during the slower songs and I sobbed through about half an hour of the show. Michael C. Hall gave a darker interpretation and I cried at the end. That show just really speaks to my heart, it is a love that will never die. I can’t imagine how I will respond to seeing John Cameron Mitchell the original Hedwig. I imagine my Metal God will have to pick me up out of a puddle on the floor!

What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever done?

I am a survivor. I consider myself a strong woman and unfortunately I didn’t love myself enough in my younger years. I think over the past few years I have really learned to love myself and now I know I deserve all the happiness my heart and hand can hold!

What did you do growing up that got you into trouble?

I spoke Sarcasm.

When was the last time you were nervous?

I was really nervous at the Benefit Betties 70’s Prom prior to my hoop dance performance. Afterwards I felt such a release of emotion I had to go outside to let it all out.

Where’s Waldo?

In the trunk of my car…shhhhh. 😉
